Built in 1906 by a wealthy woman from Charleston, South Carolina, this home has been completely remodeled with all modern conveniences.
The rooms are spacious and stunning with 12' ceilings in all rooms the 4400 square feet of living space. Walking into the home visitors quickly notice the large entrance door and windows, hardwood floors throughout, and tile in all the bathrooms. Every bedroom has access to a full private bathroom with an extra full bathroom and tub in the upstairs hallway.
The dining room adjoins the kitchen with a family room/TV area at one end. A large sunroom is accessed through two separate doors from the dining room. The dining room has an automated pellet wood stove, and the master bedroom has a gas fireplace.
The house sits on 3.3 acres filled with some of the largest trees in Waynesville. There is ample parking, and the flat yard allows many activities such as badminton, horse shoes, and volley ball. The house is very child friendly with play equipment, and baby gates guarding the stairway.
